History
The River Exe Regatta was first run in 2001, under the burgee of Exe Sailing Club. It has been run every year since, with responsibility for organising the event rotating between the four sailing clubs of the Exe. The host club for this year's event is Topsham Sailing Club.
The Organising Committee for the River Exe Regatta is drawn from the local sailing clubs, chaired by the host club for the year.
